Every build starts before ground is broken. We run a clear path — Needs & Wants Analysis, floor plan, mechanical layout, permit approval, finance, build, inspections, occupancy — so nothing is left to chance and the numbers are real from day one.

Constructing x

This is where our heritage shows. We self-perform the majority of every project with our own in-house trades and journeymen, managing every milestone and inspection directly from foundation to final walkthrough. We build to last and build it right the first time.

Developing x

We don’t just build — we develop. From site evaluation and land entitlements to CMHC and government-backed financing, we create value at every stage, including large-scale affordable and multi-residential housing.

Our History x

2001

 

The First Home.

Two brothers, Riz and Faizal Jamal, complete their first custom home. The standard is set: never accept anything less than we'd want for our own home.

2005

 

Into Multi-Residential.

WHC takes its first steps into income-producing multi-residential and land development, securing entitlements and building the foundation for larger work.

2016-2019

 

Design-Build at Scale.

A run of custom homes, renovations, and additions across Kitchener-Waterloo, refining the self-performing, design-build model.

2023-2024

 

Cedar Hill Condos.

WHC delivers a ground-up stacked townhouse condominium in downtown Kitchener — proof of full-cycle condo development.

2025-Present

 

The East Coast & Beyond.

As construction partner on The Woods (160 units, Upper Hammonds Plains, NS), backed by $62M+ in CMHC and provincial funding, WHC steps onto the institutional stage — with its sights set on 200–400 unit developments.
