Andrew is an extraordinary Construction Project Manager with 20 years of experience. He is an accomplished mechanical journeyman. He established a mechanical company 8 years ago, that continues to be in high demand with builders from across the greater southwestern region of Ontario. His professionalism and attention to detail are foundational to his success.

 

Before joining Welcome Home Construction in 2014, Andrew was the General Manager of the mechanical division for one of the largest homebuilders in the Hamilton-Niagara region (Ontario).  He oversaw the construction of multiple sites with an annual average completion of 500 units.

 

Andrew is the general manager for all projects at Welcome Home.  His technical expertise, sincere enthusiasm, creative problem-solving, and leadership skills combined with a natural passion for real estate are recognized assets that resulted in an opportunity for a partnership at Welcome Home.  With a commitment to excellence Andrew is well-respected by employees, trades, and tenants. 

What I love about my career

When I was a child it would feel so good to finish a puzzle or a lego set. I would have never imagined that I would fast forward into my successful career as a project manager and would be able to do what I loved as a child in this size and scale. This is real life and it feels amazing.

When I have some time to myself I often strategize on what we can do next and how to increase my skills both professionally and personally.

What makes me Happy

My happiness is spending real time with the closest people in my life. Taking a walk with my wife and the dogs in open field on a sunny day is so peaceful. I would say my wife is the closest person to me. No matter what she keeps me mentally ready for any challenge that may be ahead she encourages me everyday and teaches me to stay positive. 

My Advice to you

My parents have taught me some valuable things about life that I am thankful for each day. They have taught me to have great work ethics and have shown me the rewards of hard work.
